Hi all I have a mate who has an old rusty brumby with targa top
Just wondering can these be easily fitted to another crumby, has it been done? Does any one have photos of such an installation

No it would be an impossible job - best just cut the targa roof off and send it to me just to make sure - I have a Brumby with a rusty roof that I could experiment on hahahaha

But seriously I don't see why you couldn't cut and shut the targa roof in place. Just make sure you brace the door opening when you cut the old roof off to stop the car bending in the middle.

I don't have photos, just a mate who did it about 15 years ago.

You need the entire roof and a good panel beater to mate to two together.

If not done properly it will wreck your brumby. And I don't know the issue with compliance or engineering but I know it can be done and will look factory.

It will probably cost a pot load of money too.

Cheers

It could be done as many panel beaters have replaced roofs on cars all the time. As long as it's done in a stagered way then should be fine.

I have a complete targa roof already cut off in Perth if you're ever interested??
