Hi
Have a brumby with ea82t and currently going through the painful process of getting engineer certificate

My question is what have people done with the air cleaner set up?
I currently have a pod filter but been told it is illegal and needs to come off. So what can I replace it with. Is there any aftermarket filter boxes I can put in without having to move to many things

If any one has some pictures it would be appreciated

This is an EA81T engine bay, and the airbox appears to be very similar to the EA82T airbox.

Have you tried to fit an EA82 MPFI or turbo airbox?

Haven't tried anything yet but just getting some ideas
In the brumby the battery is on the opposite side to this picture so i dont have much room
How big is this air box and is it moulded to the wheel arch
Which box is most compact out of the ones suggested

Any chance you can post another pic of just the air box and where it is mounted under the bonet

You need to enclose the air filter element so it is shielding induction noise. Build an enclosure around curent pod - is accepted or suggested by engineers on cars I have seen knocked back for exposed air filters - it's a noise EPA thing
