can I sound like a funny fella and say it would be same kilowatts in any car?
I dunno why we bother with kW coz they are measured almost revving tits off, whereas torque is more at the range you drive at or closer to it.
Why do you ask? Engineering cert question? Curiosity ?
When I was tossing up EJ or EA82T I found that the EJ22 and EA82T had much same torque rating. Still playing with EA82T in L Series but reckon it will be more than enough go for my needs (most of the time). Know a fella who EJ20G in Brumby maybe ten years ago or more, he ended up happy with it as EJ20 NA. In AWD it returned good times along highway runs, up mountains etc. You'd be happy with it I am sure

You talking power to weight then?

let me help you here ... kw is the amount of power the engine puts out ,not what the car puts out but the engine itself ,,so it doesnt matter what car that engine is in it will still put out the same power kw ....having said that ,by putting that engine in a lighter car or ute ,it will seem faster because of the weight ...same kw but lighter vehicle =faster vehicle .... hope this helps you ... khanacross

Buy some Slick50, an earthing kit and an inline induction supercharger and you'll make up the difference

the main advantage is brass button will break your gbox nice and quick.
stick to a normal clutch. brass button are really only for snapping gears hard. Terrible for everyday driving and a pain in the arse. youll get sick of it quick.

Oh Alex, That is just sooooo subtle

but I do agree with the implied appropriateness , a brass button clutch in his car would truly seem to be a match made in heaven !
