Brumby EA82T..Darwin or Bust

Hi everyone.
Just a bit of an update on my brumby in my signature box. The car goes into Toowoomba in the morning to get tuned on the dyno, Wish me luck. Its running an EMS stinger ECU so hopefully the guy can get it up and have the engine running sweet. Its always had a flat spot as it comes of idle and falters a little bit..once the turbo kicks in and the foots down ..away she goes. So I hope this gets to the root of the problem because its gonna cost me some serious folding money this close to Christmas.
She, who must be obeyed and I are planning for a trip to Darwin next June returning through Mt Isa and hopefully staying on a property in the Richmond area before coming home. I need to start thinking about the trip now so we can get this brumby there and back. Its a family wedding in Darwin so there will probably be a family convoy of about three cars, stopping in Longreach, Mt Isa and then we'll see. I'm thinking of taking one complete spare front axle plus spare boots and that sort of thing, also two spare wheels, hoses, belts etc. Gotta work more on that.
The brumby is setup fairly well for this type of travel but as stated in another thread, I plan to install an under floor auxiliary tank that will gravity feed to the main fuel tank. Plans for this are well under way and I will post pics as it develops, probably after New Year. I am hoping to gain about another 75litres endurance.
Anyway, will get this tune out of the way first. Oh and after renewing the timing belts etc, (touch wood) the lifter tick has not returned..fingers crossed X
Cheers.... Trevor.
