G'day,

in looking at a brake upgrade on the new toy
before I make it go faster and wondering
if I can bolt on WRX four pots and discs onto
my RS spindle?

And 1 or 2 pot rears too?

I have alloys to clear them too.

Cheers all

I dont see why not.

Im pretty sure all Subaru hub setups are the same (except for MY and L series obviously, and 03+ R180 STI 5x114.3)

Yeah front 4pots bolt straight on no worries.

Rear 2pots do not. There are two ways to do it.
1 - Retain your existing rear hubs and purchase special "dogbone" adaptors which allow you to fit the 2pot calipers
2 - Replace your rear hubs with a pair which suit 2pots (from the appropriate WRX donor car). Be careful that you get 2pot rear hubs to suit R160 rear diff. If you get the ones to suit R180 then you need to change your rear driveshafts and diff too.

I sourced R160 rear hubs for my RS when I put the 2pot calipers on. Was a lot cheaper than the dogbone adaptors but a little difficult to source - the only WRX owners who sell them are those who upgrade to R180 rear end.

hm no idea really. I just searched around for "R160 rear hubs to suit 2pot calipers". I assume they came from some kind of WRX but that info wasn't required when searching. The above description was plenty :)
They would come from any model of WRX which came with rear 2pots and an R160 diff as standard - someone will be able to list all these models for you I guess.
