Post by powerman » Thu Nov 25, 2010 12:40 am

Hi Guys,

Just wondering what a decent turbo kit would be for my 2.5L liberty, its done 170k mind you, would i see much of an increase in performance?

what are the price ranges i'd be looking at?

Cheers

Forget it, it would be cheaper to buy a turbo front cut and swap everything over and sell what you don't use, twin turbo Gen 3 front cuts are relatively cheap & it's just a straight motor, box, diff, wiring & dash change over.
If you have a couple of mechanically minded mates you could knock it over in a weekend and probably only be $2 - 2,500 out of pocket, maybe less by the time you sell all the leftovers.

If its an N/A forgot it, as you'll need to change the heads, wiring n shit so fourth.. cheapest way is to have half cut like what d-generate said above.
