Hi guys,

We just got some new extended brake lines made for the brumby and since we are going to take them all apart i was wandering how hard would it be the fit the complete liberty booster and cyl?

Do we need to extend lines?
Do we need to mod the firewall and pedal bracket for it to fit?
Do we need to do any mods?

Also using the standard front calipers and rear drums for now, will it make a difference?

Thx

Pretty sure all the relevant info is in this almost identical thread.

As for the differences between MY and L series - go stick your head under the bonnet of the numerous cars you have and look :) Pretty sure it's basically the same, might need to beat the strut tower a little to make the booster fit, it's bigger. Again, just go look.
Subarino fitted a Lib booster and master cylinder to his Hatch and it was a bolt-in mod.

All goes into an MY real easy. I think there are a few different master cylinders available off libertys... i have seen some that simply don't have the outlets in the correct spots.

Mine went in with no mods but i used the MY pedal bracket on the Lib cylinder arm and had to block off 2 outlets with blanks available from a hose place. Without swaping the little pedal bracket it made the pedal stick out too far. If the outlets on the lib cylinder match the MY ones then give it a crack... u got more than enough brains to sort it.
