I've looked into this for a while but with my racecar taking precedence over all other car projects, I've had to wait.
It's certainly do-able but the biggest headache is where to put the radiator.
There are 3 methods that have been used that I know of and they all have their drawbacks.
1. The horizontal above the engine like a Humvee (subarubrat.com)
2. In front of the grille, behind the bullbar,
3. In the tray.
None of these solutions are what you'd call "practical".
I'd like the time to mock up a Vortex XT6 style extended front on the Brumby to see if you could install the radiator in front of the 6 cylinder but protected by the grille.
I've got the EG33, dual range AWD with centre diff-lock and a Sports Brumby but no time.....

EZ30 would be a lot easier as it is only 20mm wider than a ej20. Probably would have to just put the fans on the front of the radiator?
Although probably still a bit expensive.

Daza.

Know this car pretty well
It is shit scary fast - much quicker than my RS. Feels like you will never stop being pushed into your seat.
Simply awesome - should have seen the loom being sorted out

In the tray like this
one?
Works extremely well - never once overheated even doing high rev low speed sand work.
Still had room for cargo (save the LPG tank)

That's definitely the neatest one around and you can see why it wouldn't get hot but I would prefer something less vulnerable and less obvious. No disrespect to Steve, he does some great stuff.

I looked at an ER27 in an L wagon years back - motor was easy
Rad wise plans were
1. mount flat on roof racks - has been done before with the Libyans dessert assault vehicles in the 80s, or
2. more likely, but again on the roof racks, a triple or quadruple core rad 200mm high
both not really all that elegant or stealth like.
There was a Cuban years back that did a ER27 in a L wagon - had two small rad in the guards - also overheated a lot from memory

Could always boot spare wheel in the tray put a bonnet scoop on utilise the space where the spare went with a thick radiator with a dirty big thermo fan plus two small radiators under front gaurds

I thought I saw one from the US that had the radiator flat on top of the engine and then it hinged up to get at the donk for service etc.
