OMG my car now sports a bling bit .
The black and silver Turbosmart 800 series adjustable fuel pressure regulator and gauge went in this afternoon , its bolted to the near side strut tower directly below where the twin fuel hose guide lives . There is a couple of captive nuts vertically aligned down there and with Coxys patience the supplied bracket was made to fit nicely .
Luckily the fuel hose almost covers the blue anodized threaded barb fittings so if doesn't look too out of place .
I set the pressure to 38 psi static meaning with the diagnostic jumper plugs joined so the fuel pump would cycle without the engine running .
I think it feels a little more willing to drive and must stick the wide band in the dump pipe and take a look at its mixtures . It feels like the ignition timing could be advanced a little and the wuzzy 4.5 psi actuator on the turb could be a bit higher .
Getting there , cheers A .
