rotors and pads

Hiya subi peeps

Will be replacing the pads on my '92 lib while i do my suspension conversion, wondering what pads you've had good or bad experiences with?

I hear upgrading to better quality pads can cause premature ware on rotors? I tow fairly regularly and do a lot of mountain driving, along with four wheeling, so I'm after a pad that will give me increased braking (more power less fad) without taking forever to warm up and not shorten my discs' lifespan. Not like i'm expecting the world or anything...

Suggestions or cautions?
