Subaru EA82 Turbo

Hello,
The turbo of my L-series is seriously broken, and now i want to replace it, but in germany the Turbochargers are very rare, so i have to search for another one, i found this one

its for 2 up to 3,5 liters engines, and my l-series only get 1.8l

Will this turbo work on the l-series? if yes, how good it will work? a buddy of me thougt it will work, but only upward of 4.000rmp

G'day,
Try looking for one from a similar sized engine, you might get lucky with a good second hand turbo.
Think maybe a TD04 From a wrx or mitsubishi?
