Does anyone have any pics of the modifications needed to the linkages to get them to work with in the Brumby?
And any pics of a modified Gearbox cross member?
And can you still use the larger Brumby Flywheel clutch / Starter motor?

You shouldn't need any linkage mods - the L series linkages should (I say this as I have not done this work on a brumby... yet) fit in without a problem in stock trim. You'll have to either fit an L serie console or make up your own...

I'm not much more use after this, if I have been helpful with the above.

and do not touch the gearshift levers with anything other than your hands, tools and a cleaning rag. It all fits, just a trim of the floor hole may be needed in yours too at the rear.

do not modify the crosmember either, use the Brumby 4 speed one, use the four speed mounting brackets. To see how to do this you need to physically hold the correct side bracket to the L series five speed. One side you elongate the MY brackets outwards, the other side you elongate the holes inwards along the centre line. You will see.

Depends on whether you have early or later clutch/fly. Early one is smaller diameter, later is same as L series. Early I used a petrol gemini 1.6l clutch disc with std Brumby pressure plate. It is four or five years since I did it and still going well.

Sweet mine is the later model one i believe and that is interesting about the levers... Also how much longer does the tail shaft need to be if i am using a Brumby one.

use the two piece L series one and suport the centre bearing with two bits of flat bar 6mm thick 50mm wide and come in at under floor level. You need to do some searching in here. What you ask has been asked before and answers should al be in here somewhere, even a photo of the centre bearing support idea.

Yeah it did at one stage but i couldn't find it. The CD would be a good idea. I am only asking the questions to make sure i have it all in my head straight which i do.
