ej converson questions

This might be a stupid question when fitting a ej motor to the exsisting L series gearbox using an adaptor plate does it matter what transmission the donor car had manual or auto front or all wheel drive? or will all of the above work thanks:)

Nah doesn't matter. There are supposedly some small differences with the way the ECU works on auto EJ's but we havn't seen this cause an issue when running them on L series 5speeds. Mechanically there is no problem because you end up using all the L series hardware (clutch, pressure plate, flywheel) anyway.
