Strut top mount ? weak point

While fitting my lift kit a tested one of the top strut body mounts placed it in the vice them pulled on it .It came away in two peices !

the rubber was stuffed ! I dont like this set up at all when lifting the car .has any one made a mod to the rubber mounts ?

which tops are you using?

liberty ones generally never give any trouble
