Alternators that fit EA82

Post by NightHawk » Sat May 30, 2009 1:00 pm

I'm having difficulties getting an alternator for my '89 subaru 1800 at a fair prize here in Iceland, i was wondering what other alternators fit the EA82 mounting wise?

I could post you one out of spares? I believe that ones out of a NIssan Patrol fit, if you get them there?

there is one from a ford falcon that fits with a little modification
ie you have to grind a little from one of the mounts to make the gap wide enough and swap the pully
added bouns the ford one is an 80A model
- 92 brumby, ej22, MT5AWD, lseries low range, centre diff lock, glf5 dash, 5 stud conversion
lifted 3" front 2" rear all rolling round on 27" khumo Kl71's
more in progress ie:adaptronic ecu and sc14 supercharger
