G'day all,

This evening while working on Sunnie the Brumby I found a slave cylinder leaking on the rear left. I have a set of L self adjusting drums with decent slave cylinders on them, I was wondering if its worth installing the self adjusting gear onto the brumby (both sides of course) or going out and getting a new slave cylinder to replace the dead one and forget about the adjusting setup...

Cheers

Bennie

Auto adjuster ones (if working correctly) same you having to get under your car every couple of thousand K's to adjust otherwise your brake pedal feels crap all the time... I've done it to other cars and am doing it to my own now I have a set of L drums.

Well they're on now and do the job well, even though I'll need to put new shoes in there no later than the next oil change.

Very happy and was an easy swap - note: you will need the L series backing plate as it has different indents to fit the self adjusting mechanism...

Cheers
