Any one ever put a bench seat in the front of a brumby, or looked into what's involved legaly?

2 seats just isn't enough anymore

2 things come to mind here.
1. The width of the car. Are there other cars of the same vintage and size that have a 3 person bench seat as the front seat?
2. Leg room etc. will there be enough leg room for an adult to sit in the centre? All seats, apart from dickie seats in car like territories are required to be able to take an average sized adult without them being a hindrance to the operation of the car.

Somehow I don't think it's going to be legally possible.

Wasn't really thinking of an adult as it would have been for a todler/baby seat. I forgot about leg room. Was thinking of an old econovan 3 seater that still had the floor shift and barely enough room for an adult, but I guess at least you had leg room/depth with no transmission tunnel.

I like the sound of the conversion, wagon dual cab maybe.

I used to see a few gemini and cortina conversions floating about but not for ages.

Easy option I loose the missus, keep the brumby.
