L series brake conversions

Hi guy's,
All my L series have 4 wheel disc brakes. If I can deal with 4x140's is it necessary to upgrade for ej conversions? I dont plan on anything taller than 27" tires.

I'd say standard L discs all round will be fine, that's what I'll be running with my EJ. I just installed the rear discs last week and found a massive difference in braking, very happy.
