ea82t crossmember

hi everyone, Dose anybody know what modifications have to be done to an no turbo 88 l series crossmember so i can drop an ea82t donk in her??

Hey Jarrod,

If you can get your hands on a turbo vortex or RX turbo crossmember the work is done for you...

If you want to do it yourself check out "brownster"'s brumby - there's a pic of what you need to do on his crossmember.

You can just cut out what's in the way, they are pretty strong, and afterall your putting a motor in that Hyundai Excel's will still keep up with.
However to do it properly you should really weld in a concave section of metal afterwards for piece of mind.

and it coulg flog an excel btw.
