Hi Guys. I see a lot of brumby's and MY's with an aftermarket heavy duty locking fuel cap. Where do you get them from, they look neat. With the price of fuel these days, you can't be too careful.

No. Both brumbys have just the standard lockable but white painted tin original. I see some members cars have the solid chrome heavy duty looking cap. Thats what I would like ...

It's just die-cast chrome plated, it's no stronger than the late-model (post 83) MY.

if theft is a concern fit an alarm with bonnet pin switches and add one to the petrol door - I have one on another car and it worked

On your tanks filler pipe put a y piece in with one side blocked off so when they go to siphon their pipe goes down the wrong way and they only get a little bit thinking your tanks empty..
Or put a little sign on your car saying "Help, I need fuel, phone 04XXXXXXXX please" when you leave it?
Just a couple of ideas.. You might want to get some wheel locking nuts too, price of rubbers going up.
