Could you have an air leak?
Air could be escaping and causing the engine to run rich

it was the plugs, put new one in and closed them to .8 and mann i cant believe how good it runs, it definatly pulls harder adn it comes on to boost a heap more severe now... :D and stays cool.... on that thought, do any of you know what your intake tempaturatures are? mine seems to sit on between 60 and 75 degrees... should this be lower ( at night however i got it down to 50deg and took a bit to get back up to 65deg... im lovign this new toy....
i
m not using a blow off valve car never had one so it wont get one... and i cant beleieve how good the flutter sounds now... and all through a snorkel... now we have just got to wait for Justin over at black box to get this better flowing up pipe built...

yeah the flutter is sweet ey! im running a rs bov and i still get a little bit of flutter under hard acceleration... not sure what intake temp is because i havent got anything to measure it..i know it runs cooler than it used to with the rs intercooler in :)

Intake sounds a little high for cruising. Should be about 15-20 above ambient. I never seen mine above 70 ever. I do have a larger rad up front though.

Another trick to is to sit at the lights with the AC on as it turns the fan on and draw air through the front rad.

i have a 3core rad up front and on a 40deg day that keeps the car nice an cool on about 86deg.... it is sweeet... but i do have a thermo to install on it.

im guessing that our inlet temps would be higher because of the smaller turbo having to work harder thus being hotter, going to drive it to work tomorrow to see how it goes in traffic, also am going to trace down a better cooler..(the reason why it may not be running too good is because i have it going through a smaller trans cooler and an old My heater core)

Yeah smaller turbo will do that. Call around to some wreckers and find a copper core out of something cut it up to fit and solder it back together. I tried this with a Sigma core I had laying around. You would be surprise what an extra 8 rows did. Took the heat out really quick. I even had it at ambient one cold winters night cruising home not boosting.

nice... i was actually thinking of getting an aircon core from another L-series and using that... it owuld definatly be big enough... and or get some one to make something up for me.... but the better it cools the better it would be :D

Once you look at the condenser you wil go no way. There's not enough rows and the core is not very thick.

Nah I recon an RS core would hold more water. They are pritty thick. I could be wrong.

Im thinking of this as well would it be better with a 12volt pump in the line to ensure a good flow.

The RS liberty water/air intercooler already has a 12v pump to move the water around
