twin carby webber

Post by dylan » Sun Jul 13, 2008 10:04 pm

hay all,
ive managed to get hold of a twin carby webber (with manifold and adaptors attached) for my L series wags from a mate of mine. he said its "easy to install", i was woundering how accurate that statement is? (im not hugely mechanically minded but someone who is will be helping me)
any hits/tips or advice would be good???
if its not native its not cool.....

Absolutely sure it for an L?

there is a fair bit plugging, ending of vacum lines etc - not knowing what you are doing could be a 'interesting learning exercise'.

have a chat to steve B

Wouldn't think most carby/EFI places would that interested - could try Motorlab on Duthy St, Unley - they were legends tuning my carbied Ls over the years...a mechanic with a beard (Dave?) was esp gifted.

Or get a turbo and be done with them!

Are you sure it's not a "twin barrel" weber.
