Fitting EA82T exhaust and turbo to EJ18?

Post by Reed_Sweden » Mon May 26, 2008 2:17 am

Anybody here know if it's more or less bolt on?

I'm looking for a simpel solution to overcharge my impreza 1.8, and still being able quick-swap the exhaust for the MOT.

/Pete

Simple answer: - No.

EA & EJ Exhaust systems are completely different.
Plus the engine management system will not run a turbo with out mods.

I’m sure someone here will elaborate more on this topic.

Why bother building a turbo for an EJ18 when EJ20's are a much easier solution.

Buy a WRX motor, whack it in and get it passed over the pits. You will save yourself a lot of time and money
