Can anyone post the piccie of attahing a pod filter to the EA82 airbox ?
I think it was on the last message board.
I ask this as Autobarn has a special on K&N (copycat) type pod filters.
EA82 Pod filter conversion
its a simple matter of clamping (using two) them onto the inlet pipe on the airfilter housing. may need to cut some of the inlet pipe off. no rocket science degree necessary.
unless you plan to run the standard filter in tandem with the pod, the pod, used itself, without the standard one in situ, is an absolutely useless 'conversion' (im using your words here.)
save your money for undercar neons, or led windshield washer nozzles, or drift stickers

Some poeple run the pod filter for ricer value, some run it because they like to hear the induction noise, others have their own reasons.
I think it was chubby that had a really nice adapter for it, sorry don't have a link for it.
One thing to watch out for is that although everyone has one, your car can be defected for it, doesn't happen very often though.
