just fitted my 2.5 sti engine into my 85 rx turbo dunga and it has a 94 manual box out of an early liberty i know this box is crap and its all good to run the engine in but im after an auto and if it will fit into my tunnel and if any one has manualised the autos any help would be a champion effort.......:mad:

Rigoli is the only one i know of that has manualised these autos hes currently running one in his 8 sec gx

My brumby had the 4 speed auto out of a turbo lib in it when i bought it. It fit with a reasonable amount of room left so i would asume one would fit in your beast.

anything will fit... just depends how much you want to play with it hehe but from all acounts i dont think it would be too hard to fit up

is your car lifted?Mine fitted in a 88 touring wagon but it was a auto to start,wider tunnel,have heard the early L tunnel may be narrower.there is a mob up here that makes a unit to replace the tcu so you can manual shift.Ive run mine on fwd auto loom added some switches and wires and have a speed sensor missing and it shifts beautifully.The cheapest/easist way is to use a auto loom and tcu to suit.
