keeping valve clearances reasonably close will help the 2 valve heads perform better
try some timing advance, mod air filter, derestrict muffler

have half a dozen profiles for the EA81.

i can vouch for 16/56 grind on 81 as good all rounder for play on dirt , highways and hills ,,,,, and solid refaced lifters using 4/1000 " clearance hot for both in and ex valves

i have basicly rung every proformance shop i can think of in w.a and no1 can get me one if thats the case does any1 no of a cam regrind shop in w.a

if i cant find any1 in wa i might have to send mine to tighe cams in brissie
