I assume that you mean the ea82 from an l series (not the ejxx series from impreza, liberty and forester)

Does your motor have a Carburettor, Fuel Injection or a Turbo?

There is little to no point in putting a pod filter on a carby motor. Other than ricer looks and louder induction noise. The stock air filter probably flows more air than the pod.

On MPFI and turbo models, i doubt there would be much different either as the intake pipes are more restrictive than the pannel air filter.

You can do it, others have done it, even i was gonna do it at one stage. But the benifits are minimal

if the airflow is efficient through the pod, then its all good, but usually its not that efficient, so yeah theres no point. sell it on ebay. you can sell anything on ebay.... i sold a single shoe! dont know.. anyway.

i was rather excited about the EJ82 bit. haha imagine an 8.2L boxer!

well i think pods are the shit.
partly because i love the induction noise, but also coz i swear they give u more accelerating power. theyve worked well on my EFI'd soobs.

8.2lt boxer, mmmmm....... ive often wondered when they will bring out a 4lt 8cylinder boxer (based on the ej20) or even a 5lt 8cyl (based on the ej25)
