Rubber protector boot shagged, switch has corroded inside, disassembly to clean and make work reulted in a small break rendering it shagged again

Out comes an L Series door light switch with nice boot and retainer screw, die grinder to increase 12mm hole to 16mm, soldering iron, 8mm hex head screw, 8mm driver and in less time than I spent trying to preserve the original switch .....

also had to add a bumper to the inside door (nearly drillled right through ! ) as the two switches are 6mm difference in working reach.
So , in true Tweety style I used a pre-loved nylon washer spacer from a hydroseal tap washer and a new 5mm rivet

All works a treat and should no longer feel like I drive an old crapper with no interior light
Why Fuji did not decide the 92 Brumby or any Brumby for that matter made after L Series came into production, should use L Series componets like this!
The 92 switch was more contained that the switch found in 84 Brumby ....
And do you think I can find same to stick on the LHS ? Started to think they changed their suppliers midway from fitting the switches to some looms! And between model years .... All are branded NILES JAPAN
