Get that extra go out of your old MY series Subaru.

It is cheap

It is easy to do
.
.
.
and the extra GO you can get out of it for just a few minutes work with zero outlay, is well worth a try.

If you don't have removable floor mat in your drvers floor well, you will need one for this little miracle to happen.

It worked for me so I reckon it may work for others too and wished I'd done it years ago.

You know that top right corner of floor mat that gets stuck under the loud pedal reducing WOT - you cut it off :) getting maximum throttle cable pull

the other thing that can be done is bend the arm so you have more sweep in the pedal a simple grab of the pedal and a good strong pull will bend it upwards or pull the pedal off the box :)

just make sure you don't bend it too much or you'll end up buying lots of accelerator cables :???:
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
