Everyone told me to change the proportioning as apparently drum brakes have a little bit of line pressure all the time to keep a preload or something.
Never did anything like that, my rear brakes work fine and show no abnormal wear. Rotors are well within limits and the pads have been fine and yes, the brakes do work

After driving a drum rear Brumby the other day, I would definately put discs on if you can.
My brakes are great, everyone raves about rear discs for a reason, They are a simple and safe modification.

EJ22 Dual range AWD lifted, widened and much happier now thanks very much.
1991 L Series wagon, white and perfectly normal apart from the ticking, no I think that is normal.
Jet boat..webbered EA81 with a hybrid tin dish welded and glued to it.
