I want to sort this turbo out first because if it can be made to boost usefully lower down the rev range then the lack of advance may be less of a problem . I spoke to GCG again today and they were just in the process of sorting out the break down of GT25/GT28 individual parts and part numbers . As I mentioned the turbine I want is available and they have to work out the pricing of things like the turbine housing . Being a high Nickel content iron alloy material it may not come cheap . I've been asking about 2nd hand turbos that have this housing std and it will come down to the best price . Actually the second hand turbo would give me bits that could go into hybrids for other 2 liter engines so will wait and see .

I think the turbo as it is actually tries to do something but between too little gas speed and a computer that hasn't a clue whats going on it isn't what it could be . I backed off the boost T because the fuel cut keeps pulling the rug out JUST before I change up if I've got the boot in . I really need that boost gauge in to know whats going on pressure wise , told it may turn up Wednesday .

Be real interesting when it has a computer than can do anything thats useful for a road car .

A .
