Brumby/WRX Center console

Post by Corax » Thu Nov 05, 2009 9:44 pm

Hey Suba-Dudes,

Slowly working away at the conversion and have come to the dilemma of the center console. Since the new box is AWD (not duel range) I want to replace the section where the duel range lever used to come through and was wondering what people have done in the past when faced with this problem? Is it possible to get this section from a 2WD MY sedan or am I better off ripping out the whole console and replacing it with a center console something else, if so from what? Thanks for your thoughts.

Cheers,
Corax.

I grabbed the one out of a 2wd model and it worked well although the hardest bit was finding it!
87 targa brumby (Neglected),
92 targa brumby (weekend runabout),
97 Lifted Outback (Dailey drive),
05 outback safety (Too cheap to pass up),
90 model liberty (was to be scrapped instead sold to workmate)
+ others.
