msd ignition into l-series

hi, has anyone installed a MSD ignition sytem in a l-series? ea82 MPFI. i received a unit and would like to install it but i'm confused as to how to wire it to the distributor
1989 L touring wagon auto (project)
1969 beetle street car (project)
