back windows wont roll down fully

Suddenly both back power windows on my 2000 impreza c'z sport wagon wont roll down all the way, they get stuck at about 80 %, but can both roll up fully. I find this rather strange, are they in any way interlinked ? Have tried with individual buttons and the drivers button in vain. Any idea?

the switches work all the time? but it jsut stops at 80% for some reason?

sounds like u might need to take the door trim off one of them to see behind. possibly something stuck there,

if both are doin it then it sounds linked and not like something is holding it form going down far.

Yes the switches have been working very fine on all windows, noticed the problem a day after it came from car wash about 2 days ago.

maybe the electrics got some water in em.

take apart switch and plugs, spray contact cleaner and retest is about all i culd suggest right now

Did they roll all the way down before.
The libertys dont go past about 80% , thats the way they are designed.

i was thinking they got stuck near the top...ie 80% closed still.
