just installing a new fuel pump for the weber does the orginal wiring for the fuel pump conect to the oil pessure unit or do i have to run new wires coz the instruction says it gets power thru the oil pressure unit so when the car dies the pump dies.

if u run a fuel return line it should be right as it is

if you dont use the return line youl need an early pump with the inbuilt pressure reg then youl need to rewire it from the ignition supply

i assume the oil pressure unit your talking about is actually the engine revolution sensor its up under the dash where all the looms plug together it also controls the auto choke
