Green Plug under Dash

Just wondering what this green 2 pin plug does, it's the one which is next to the check engine light black plug...

i think you connect them for 2 reasons.
1. to check for error codes
2. part of a sequence to reset ecu

if u plug em both together and turn the ignition on the Fuel Pump and ECU fan will both start pulsing.
dont really need the green one but u can check the codes with the black one.

Green is test (cycles all solonoids controlled by the ECU) plugs black is check (check for codes) plugs

that helps me.. ( finally found a way to check my fan wiring.)
