yep thats the recommended model for L series according to the book....however you can actually fit two of the 12" models. That's what I did.

$150 thats expensive what I did was when I bought the second hand radiator it come with another original thermo. So what I did was leave the original where it was and the old one I turned it upside down and slightly adjusted one of the three supports that go into the middle flat so it would not hit the water pump pulley. Then guess what it bolts up with a slight adjustment to it's outer shroud. Three bolts go in fine as there is holes there for it. The fourth top left side does not quite match but a drill and 5 minutes solves that. Guess what for the bargain basement price for radiator and thermo $100, I know one really good radiator and two thermo fans. One is wired as normal the other has a switch in so when then normal one switches on it switches on as well, plus I can switch the second one at will eg off road. While I was at it I wired them both to the same three way switch thus being able to kill both fans for water crossings.

Cheers

Wow thats a good find! Certainly seems better value. I went with Davies Craig because they seem to have a name for quality but I suppose if the warranty is there give these ones a go. Remember you can fit two 12" fans in there if you want aswell. Maybe they offer this size too.

hehe...I love their advert...

"IMPRESSED WE WERE BY THE FORCE OF AIR COMING FROM THIS FAN."

Strong am I with the force.
Do, or do not. There is no try.
Soon will I rest, yes, forever sleep. Earned it I have.

(for the starwars fans amongst us).
