make sure you havent earthed the negitive pulse wire from the computer it is suppost to go to the negitive side of your coil which will give you the injector pulse

Look at the TechManual section and find the EA82 bit to download PDF files 1 & 2. A diagram in there is for the 4 plug ECU, and some basic faultfinding charts. You didnt mention if yours was 3 pulg or 4 plug ECU?

If you look in the Tech Manual section, in the thread titled "Differences between 3 and 4 plug ECU's", there is a wiring diagram and ECU pinout for the 3 plug system.

Are you in Sydney. I have diagrams from EA82T Vortex which were used to fit an EA82T into my Leone. Problem is don't know how to read them. Contact your local Subaru dealer and ask them if they have wiring diagrams from Vortex turbo circa 86/87. If you are in Sydney (SEven Hills) I'd be happy to lend them.

Where abouts in Perth are you?
There is a big difference in wiring looms from a carby model to a MPFI.
You should find a car being wrecked and get the main body loom from a doner MPFI (dash to engine bay RHS) and fuse box etc, as this has the plugs etc for the ECU. I assume you have that too.
Go to the wrecker in Malaga, A1 Complete parts (or something like that) and see them for an engine wiring harness for a EA82T, they have a few there, I bought one off them last year.
Just to point out the carby model differences - fuel pump and wiring different, fuel tank is not baffled, air box different for AFM, just to name a few. Then theres the cross member.
I cant see what the problem in viewing a PDF file is???? Get yourself the latest version Adobe Acrobat Reader (download free) and you should be able to zoom in on the diagrams easy. They do need to be printed on A3 paper minimum, or print selected areas of 2x A4's and join together.
Cheers, Roger

I just re-read my last post here, sorry I might have miss lead you a bit.
Getting an MPFI loom to ECU is suitable for domestic 4 plug types, the RX ones are 3 plug. I think that is what you got? Getting one would not be impossible, just a bit harder. The main harness plugs in the engine bay would then match the Turbo engine harness ok, as there are a couple of extra pins there, the MPFI loom has them already.
I went the 4 plug option, as this was already in my car being MPFI.
