Blade fuses with failure lamp inbuilt

just share some trivia i only just discovered.

jaycar sell blade fuses that have a light built in that is supposed to glow when the fuse blows about 90 cents each

how the hell is that meant to work... and im sure that will be handy at night... not much help in the day... cool never the less.

Do they have another globe that glows to let you know the first globe has blown?

when the fuse blows, undoubtedly there is still a circuit to ground on the other side, so now there is a potential difference between each side of the now blown fuse, so a small current can flow for the lamp.

so many questions, I half expected youse all to ask where I'd been and they were common as... must work the same as the 2 wire headlight reminders do
may be on their web site part number SF-5006 is a 10 amp blade fuse
