05 ALTernator wiring.

any one got the wiring details for a late model alt?The one in question has a green rectangular plug with 2 wires ,black/white and blue/red and 2 whites coming off the bolt .Just want to make sure i hook em up right .

Yeah, you do want to hook them up right. I did it wrong once and stuff the reg. Lucky it was only a bosch alt and it cost 2/10 of stuff all to get a new one.

ok i've learnt something new.This is the easest way to wire up the alt from any ej to another .... l conversion or not.
1/ Look at back of alternator ,locate sticker with diagram.it will either be round OR rectangal with a combination or all of these letters,L,S,C,IG.
2/ grab your old alternator that you are replacing find its sticker diagram.
3/Cut your existing plug and join the corresponding wires from your new plug/alternator to the old loom.
TIPS not all wires have to be used so don't worry if the ign isn't on your new alt.Wire colours don't have to match PINOUT DOES.
