ea81t distributer question

hi can anyone tell me if you need the ea81 turbo distributer if you want to run an aftermarket computer or would an NA electronic distributer do the same job

I'm running a fuel only ecu with the N/A electric dizzy ( it had a points dizzy), i believe the original was removed cos it only ever ran on a dated lpg setup, why it came with an aftermarket ecu i dont know.

but i would recommend running the ecu ignition timing, if you have the efi dizzy.
