Leone heater fan not working

Post by graham3316 » Tue Jul 11, 2006 4:32 pm

Hi there,
I have a 1982 Leone with after market A/C and the heater fan has a mind of it's own.
It is not working now and the fuse is ok, the elec radiator fans are working and so is the A/C compressor.
There appears to be no power to the fan motor, but power to the fan switch.
Can anyone help?
There are several factory relays under the bonnet which are not listed in the manual which I have rattled to no avail.

Thanks
Graham

Check your fuses on the L series there are 2 fuses for the fan and AC and the fan wont function if one of them is blown. It may be different on an MY but if its aftermarket check there isnt an inline fuse near the battery

Hi again, no luck with any fuses and I found the fan resistor as well to no avail. Looks like a call to the auto elec.

Has the fan resistor got an unsoldered power feed?
