Electrical gremlins

Post by stewbaru » Mon Oct 15, 2018 7:34 pm

Hey guys,

Had a break down in the mighty l series the other day. Basically it was blowing the engine meter fuse until I found this guy was the offender(pictured) Image there is just one wire running to it, anybody know what it does? I’ve cut and taped the wire, car runs but absolutely terribly when cold, fuel consumption seems to be out the window as well.

Cheers

From memory, its the solenoid for the fuel return, or the bowl vent.

I have a spare if you need it.
