L series Air Con Relays etc
Hi everyone, Im trying to find out why our air con doesnt work, Does anyone know if there are fuses and were are the Air Con relays? The light on dash doesnt come on when pushed in, It was only serviced 2 years ago so I assume it has gas, Do you know if it would just not work at all if no gas? Any help would really be appreciated Many thanks
It often runs through a fuse in a plastic tube (fuse holder), hanging off the +ve battery terminal.
Does your dash fan still work?
If not, the A/C will not work.
The relays sit on the back of the front strut tower on the drivers side.
It can have either one or two pressure switches on the pipes coming out of the firewall on the passengers side.
If the rest looks ok, short together the wires from these switch/es, if it then works, you have a gas problem.
