L series radio and interior light wiring

Post by jims » Sat Nov 09, 2013 7:32 pm

Hey guys,

I have installed a dual-battery system in my L and have hooked up spotties, cb, flood light etc to the house battery.

Now I want to connect radio and interior lights to the second battery. Once these two wires are through the firewall into the engine bay where do they come out? Anyone happen to know the colour?

You asked this question in a hurry - right ? The power for nearly everything comes off the back of the fuse panel. See which fuses protect radio and infernal lights, and look at the power bar behind the panel - needs a few screws undone to drop it from memory

Run new wires and tap them into the power wires in the back of the units you want to power from the second battery. Make sure you seal up the original power wires good and proper to avoid "other issues"
