Just be happy it works , I've tossed five for not working!. My Brumby clock keeps time to the ABC radio pips to the second for weeks and months on end ! I have a spare to build up as a bedside clock , one day !

I'd say the crystal has given way and as a result the timing is out.
As for other clocks that fail, its usually the big resistor that goes open circuit. Should be an easy fix for somebody handy with a soldering iron

Or dry solder joints, very common.
Have a close look at them.

My Pulsar used to do that too, you would reset it and then a few weeks later it would be 10 mins fast and it would keep getting faster and faster until you changed it again. It was good for making you hurry up though on your way to places, it was like you were running late

Cheers, well I think while it works I'll just leave it be and reset it each week, the stories of non working clocks are worse than one that makes me early!
Thanks

Mine's a random number generator. I don't care.

I thought we went through this a few years go Jonno - you don't throw them, pull them apart and re-solder the dry/fried joints and hey presto! A working L series clock once again.
Ajames, I guess your clock is just trying to keep up with the turbo
Cheers

Haha no if it was doing that then it'd be running slow!

They've not bothered me since, "Bennie" . Got a Volt meter in there instead to monitor the knock sensor or battery Voltage

True, but I guess it wants to go faster, just so it doesn't get left behind
Cheers
