Just thinking out loud - always thought if the Brumby heater/blower fan switch could be relocated to the console the remaining hole could be good for a 2" gauge of some sort. As I am bending over, spy the slider switch from my Vortex wreck in the console !!
Anyone already tried?

That's really thinking outside the box !!
Sounds like too much work for just a gauge

This is Jonno we're talking about though!
I'm keen to see some pics of how this is done/the process you tried
Cheers

I'd wanna steer clear of Clive Palmers new idea - it's a bit like an iceberg, neat and tidy up top , but on the underside, it is a huge structure with framework to support the lever action for hot/cold choices cable .....

Have you got a pic of said items ? as I've seen a relocated brumby panel, but not sure of vortex one ...

Maybe remove the speed control knob and the resistors and replace it with this simple volume style knob controller for infinate speed control, then stick said gauge in the existing fan speed hole
