Looking good Doug. What sort of connector are you after?

Oh and we missed you on the beach today

One of these bog standard plugs. two 6 ways and an 8 way. I just had crimps inside the connector before but its too dodgy so Il just get the right plugs and be done with it.

Looks nice mate, any fish? I still need to sort out my gearbox. I doubt its gonna take much more abuse. I would like to do the 5spd swap but its just another thing on the list. Might start keeping an eye on gumtree for one. Need to get it all ready for August ;).

Regards

Doug

Yeah I'm sure that would go down well with my crippled gearbox . Besides, ea81 is more then enough for me. I'd be better off spending the money on suspension, tyres and a lift kit. If I want an ej il go buy a foz ;). Wiring is just the first step. Plenty more to do.

Speaking of which, how's the monster brumby coming along?

Regards

Doug

No worries mate. Not sure how much work he'll have done on his Brumby as we have WayneO down for repairs to the L. but there is a bunch of spares here for you :)

Weber?

Well If WayneO changes his mind and decides he wants my MPFI engine out of the wedge let us know and you can pull it out and take it on one condition. You put something back in there :D.

I doubt he'll change the engine. His EA does everything he asks of it

The parts I mean are off Jayson's Brumby to fit your wagon

I drove the car onto a trailer but that's as much as I know about the box. You can try it out and if it's good, you can give Jayson something for it.

Hi all,

Pretty much done, still need to do the windshield wipers but meh, its pretty unlikely to rain at the moment .

Heres how it turned out,

Image

Much better around the Coil and driver, no more birds nest. Look at how filthy it is in there!

Image

Probably a few to many relays but oh well. Gives me options for the future. Yes its sitting crooked but I havent mounted it down yet. Again, filth for miles.

Image
Image

Under the dash. This was harder then I liked, so Il settle for it like this. Still a million times better then what was under there before. Yes, Im missing the rubber clutch petal cover....Its nicer on bare feet.

Image

Gave it a clean, came out ok.

Image

Just because.

Anyway, I have some wiring information about the wire colors and pinouts of the connectors that are under the dash. Il document it and throw it up here for anyone who might need it.

Regards

Doug
