It is possible??
Or is there a problem because of the speed sensor??
I know the speed sensor is in the back of the lib dash
but can i 'trick' the control unit by using another speed sensor on the tail shaft??
Thanks in advance

No reason it wont work. I prepped one for my RX but ended up using one of the aftermarket ones so i had the indicator set buttons. The Liberty stuff that goes on the steering column wouldnt allow to have a neat looking finish.
I have used the lib vac pump on it though as prolonged period of boost would result in a loss of vac

It can be done but if you have a carb L you will have to wire the reed switch up in the dash.
If you are going to buy a kit get a Gen 2 system, it is a whole lot better and less complex at the same time.

It's pretty straightforward, just replicate it's wiring and switches in the L. The speed signal at the L ecu will be fine.

??? The ECU is a 3 Plug Flapper style AFM. Is there still a speed signal wire? If so which one.
Thanks

Pretty sure the early ones still have a speed signal, JackSparrow is your man for the pin out location.

yeah the L series have a speed sensor wire which is pinout 22 on the ecu (smaller 2 row plug looking at the ECU it is the second one in on the top) but if you want to grab the signal from the engine bay it is on the read plug on the DS behind the shock tower, the orangey beige looking one.

Generally us EA82T drivers have to keep very quiet about the perfomance as the EJ engined car owners like to feel good about thier cars

I'm doing this too.
But I've got an EJ20T & I'm fitting a Lib RS steering wheel & indicator stalks to a modded L steering shaft.
I've got a spare factory L Series "cruise" switch to suit a series one here.
not the steering wheel switch, but the one that sits on the top left on the right side of the steering column.
