MY brake switch

Just a heads up.
My MY touring wagon failed its 30 year old rego check on 2 points.
One is the key pulls out when the engine is running (covered in other posts) and the other is the brake lights were not lighting up.
I have now put about 4 second hand brake switches into this car from the wreckers but have solved my recent issue with rego when I went to Supercheap and for about $13.00 bought a universal Stop Light Switch.
It is fitted with a straight plug in plug, nothing to be done and fits exactly where is should in the car. No rewiring necessary.
It is a Tridon brand, Part number TBS006.
